Protected Time for Research

Over the PGY2-5 training years each resident is eligible to apply for up to 20 days of
protected time for research.  Time may be taken in blocks consisting of any multiple
of single working days up to a maximum of 20.  Under exceptional circumstances
all 20 days may be taken as a single block.

Application forms for protected time available from University Office. Obtain approval
from Resident Training Director and Radiologist on clinical rotation for time requested.
